Susannah Collins hails from Downers Grove, IL, a western suburb of Chicago.  As the daughter of a P.E. teacher, Susannah showed a keen interest in sports at an early age.  In high school, she was a stand-out student academically and athletically, graduating with honors while excelling on the volleyball and basketball court where she also served as captain.  While attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Susannah honed her on-camera skills earning a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and also indulged her love of musical theater, starring in several university productions.  Her prowess on stage earned her a place in the post-graduate Musical Theater program at the prestigious Mountview Academy in London, England.  Upon graduating, Susannah returned stateside, making appearances in several stage productions, television commercials and print ads, and was also featured in the music video for “Slow Poison”, a song by the New York based band, The Bravery.

But Susannah’s true calling came in 2009 when she was given an opportunity to host a new web-based sports show, Sports Nutz, allowing her to combine her love of sports with her charismatic, on-camera abilities. While reporting on the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden, Susannah’s sense of humor and composure while deflecting inappropriate come-ons from intoxicated fans caught the eye of producers at Showtime Sports.  This lead to several gigs reporting at MMA and Boxing matches as well as her current role as a reporter/correspondent for Inside the NFL and Inside NASCAR.  Susannah has also appeared on WCBS New York as the weekend sports anchor, and performed sideline reporting duties for the Madden ’12 Pig Skin Pro-Am which aired on NBC.

Susannah is a die-hard Chicago sports fan and religiously cheers on the Cubs (painful though it may be), the Bears, the Bulls, and the Blackhawks.  She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
